April 16 Easter – The cross is Empty

February 20, 2017 by Glyn Jones Leave a Comment

The Cross is empty, the Grave is Empty – So what now???the empty crossThis is not an intellectual exercise. Which means the next question is “So What?” What difference does this make to me, my situation, my world, even the whole world? What is it to me that God became a person, and God died – for you and me? And that now both the cross and grave are empty?

The picture is from the Lithuanian Hill of Crosses, erected as a sign of faith and opposition to tyranny –  opposition to evil in the world.  How do we stand up for good and oppose evil? What difference does the cross and empty grave make in our lives?
